Stay fit and help out a good cause as well. The Byron Bay to Ballina Charity Walk is open to everyone.
The spectacular scenery creates an awe inspiring backdrop for the Charity Walk. Participants can walk or run at any pace however it is a non-competitive social event.
Walk as an individual or as part of a team, either way you will be fully supported all the way by Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Crew, Event Staff and Volunteers.
Fuelling stations – water, fruit, lollies are provided along the way, however all participants are asked to bring their own water bottle to save on rubbish and to keep the event space clean by walking green.
The Charity Walks are a major fundraiser for Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
The walks are an all-terrain challenge across sand, bush track and roads and should not be underestimated by any walker.
As the Charity Walks are a fundraiser a compulsory donation is added to your entry fee. Additional fundraising is encouraged and we provide you with an Everyday Hero Event Page so that you can support our helicopter heros.
All money raised within our flight play stays in our region and goes directly towards ensuring the Northern Regional Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter is on standby to respond to the community.
The Byron Bay to Ballina Charity Walk 2016 will be held at Bay Street, Byron Bay NSW on May 15, 2016.
